AUDI R8 V10 (2016-2019)F1 sound Valved Exhaust system | GWAPOTech JAPAN
The Audi R8 V10 (2016-2019) consists of:
Exhaust manifold
Rear exhaust
Rest assured, all our products are developed with actual vehicle verification.
Firstly, let's look at the rear exhaust, which is one of the most common parts used to achieve the F1 sound of the Audi R8 V10 engine, similar to the Huracan LP610/580.
Our variable rear exhaust features an X-flow pipe design to enhance the distinctness of the valve switching. In straight mode, it produces a high-pitched sound at high revs.
The design of the internal piping, punching, and glass wool placement of the silencer has been meticulously calculated to ensure that the noise reduction effect when the valve is off matches or exceeds that of the stock system.
Next, another exhaust upgrade component besides the rear exhaust is the exhaust manifold. The stock exhaust manifold has many areas where the exhaust flow is restricted. By removing these restrictions and going fully straight, the exhaust flow is significantly improved.
Since upgrading the exhaust manifold involves removing the engine, it is very costly and would not pass vehicle inspections. Therefore, it may not be recommended for everyone (sweat).
However, for those who are particular about increasing volume and achieving machine gun-like bubbling, it is a recommended item. Replacing only the rear exhaust and adjusting the ECU can also reproduce sufficient bubbling, so consider this as a final option.
