BMW Alpina XB7 / X7 M60i Racing Valved Exhaust system | GWAPOTech JAPAN
The exhaust system for BMW Alpina XB7 / X7 M60i consists of
① downpipes, ② center pipes, and ③ rear exhausts.
First, we will introduce the downpipes starting from the front side.
Here is a comparison image between the BMW F80/F82 M3/M4 OEM downpipes and our downpipes. OEM downpipes have large catalysts due to strict emission regulations in the Eurozone, resulting in naturally lower sound volume.
We offer straight specifications without catalysts or 200-cell sports catalysts* (available at an additional cost). This not only increases sound volume but is also highly effective for weight reduction and horsepower tuning.
Next is the cat-back system, an essential part of sound tuning following the downpipes. Here, we introduce both the rear exhaust and center muffler simultaneously.
OEM center pipes feature large silencers, suppressing exhaust efficiency.
In theory, significantly increasing sound volume by making this section straight is possible, but ignoring exhaust efficiency can lead to undesirable sound quality and potential cracking.
We adopt straight specifications for the center pipes that prioritize power and increased sound volume.
We can also customize for customers who prefer emphasis on high-pitched tones.
For the rear exhaust, we employ a variable valve system that allows switching sound volume according to usage.
To add distinction between ON and OFF modes, we use larger exhaust tips and design to match the sound level of OEM silent mode, ensuring peace of mind during night or residential area driving—a gentlemanly specification.
When the valve is open, it maximizes engine potential, producing a racing sound that enhances everyday driving experience.
We offer a variety of exhaust tip options so you can choose the best design that fits your vehicle's image.
We also offer wholesale prices, so please feel free to contact us!
