The exhaust system for the BMW G87 M2 M-Performance consists of:
Downpipe

Let's start by introducing the front downpipe.
This is the stock downpipe for the BMW M2 G87, which includes a large catalyst due to strict emission regulations in Europe, naturally resulting in lower sound volume.
We offer a straight pipe version without a catalyst or a 200-cell sport catalyst as a paid option. This is highly effective for increasing sound volume, reducing weight, and enhancing horsepower.
Next, we'll introduce the cat-back system, an essential component for sound tuning, including both the rear exhaust and mid pipe.
The stock system has a non-equal-length mid pipe with numerous large silencers that significantly restrict exhaust efficiency.
Please note there are two types of vehicles: one with OPF/GPF sensors and one without.
In theory, making this section straight would greatly increase sound volume, but excessive exhaust flow can lead to unpleasant sound distortion and an undesirable tone.
We have developed an equal-length mid pipe with pipes of identical length. The primary benefit of this equal-length mid pipe is the elimination of sound distortion, maintaining sound output even at high RPMs.
The mid pipe is compatible with the stock rear exhaust and downpipe, allowing for standalone replacement.
For vehicles without GPF/OPF sensors, we offer a single-type equal-length mid pipe that further enhances torque.
Materials available are stainless steel and titanium.
The rear exhaust features a variable valve system to adjust sound volume as needed.
To emphasize the ON/OFF distinction of the valve, we use a larger silencer. The silent mode matches the sound level of the stock silent mode, providing a gentleman's specification suitable for driving in residential areas or at night.
When the valve is open, the exhaust system delivers a racing sound, maximizing the engine's potential and enhancing everyday driving experiences.
