Dodge Challenger Racing Valved Exhaust system | GWAPOTech JAPAN
The exhaust system for the Dodge Challenger consists of:
Exhaust manifold
Downpipe
Center muffler
Rear muffler
Currently, our development of the exhaust manifold is still underway, but we can accommodate requests from interested customers.
First, let’s look at the front downpipe.
The stock downpipe features a very large catalytic converter, which restricts sound volume and results in a muffled, deep bass sound.
Our downpipe is designed to produce higher frequency sounds and optimize exhaust efficiency. In addition to a straight pipe, we also offer an optional 200-cell sport catalytic converter at an additional cost.
Next, let’s introduce the rear muffler.
We will also cover the center muffler and rear muffler together, as they are part of the cat-back system.
The stock center muffler and rear muffler include very large silencers, which reduce exhaust efficiency and result in a muffled, deep bass sound.
Our center pipe is available in two designs to suit different sound tuning needs:
A design focusing on American muscle car sound
A design focusing on higher frequency sound
Our rear muffler not only achieves weight reduction but also meticulously calculates and designs the piping, punching, and glass wool balance.
To provide a noticeable difference between valve ON and OFF, we use a larger muffler. In silent mode, it is designed to have the same volume level as the stock silent mode, ensuring a gentlemanly specification that allows for silent driving at night or in residential areas.
When the valve is open, the system maximizes engine potential and produces a racing sound, enhancing your everyday driving experience with enjoyable sound tuning.
There are also various options for exhaust tips, allowing you to select a design that best matches your vehicle’s image.
