Ferrari 458 ITALIA F1 sound Full Exhaust System | GWAPOTech JAPAN
The Ferrari 458, like its predecessor, the F430, is made up of 1) exhaust manifold, 2) catalytic downpipe, and 3) rear muffler.
In our company, we are dedicated to pursuing the F1 sound, so we have developed equal-length headers to prevent any sound cracking during gear shifts. We've also introduced a clear sound design that is impossible to replicate with aftermarket unequal-length headers or stock ones.
Our headers are made with slightly smaller pipe sizes than the stock ones (*refer to the image below). This is because it becomes challenging to produce long tubes due to the positioning of various sensors with the stock diameter.
Moreover, installing equal-length headers is essential for achieving the high-pitched sound of the 458. While aftermarket unequal-length headers may increase the volume and pick up high-rev sound compared to stock ones, they tend to lack consistency and lean towards heavy bass tones.
The downpipe section comes with the heat shield option for free. By default, it's a straight design, but for those looking to add a 200-cell sports catalyst, we offer that as a paid option.
Going straight will give you a pretty loud and powerful sound, but if you're driving open-air in a Spider or similar vehicle, or if you're sensitive to gas smells, we recommend adding the catalyst.
The rear muffler section contains a specially designed junction merge tube that determines the high-pitched sound.
And to give a dynamic switch to the variable valve, we have installed a large muffler filled with glass wool on both sides to ensure a sound similar to the genuine one in residential areas, without compromising on the silent mode.
テールフィニッシャーとなるマフラーカッターは3本出しor2本出しの仕様がございます。
The muffler cutter is designed to be special, so there may be limitations on the options specifications!
