Ferrari F12 812GTB/GTS F1 sound Exhaust systems | GWAPOTech JAPAN
The Ferrari F12 and 812 consist of (1) exhaust manifolds, (2) downpipes, (3) center mufflers, and (4) rear exhaust.
Currently, no manufacturer produces aftermarket exhaust manifolds, and even OEM parts are scarce in the market, so development has not been possible. We plan to develop them as soon as they become available.
The reason we consolidated the exhaust systems of the F12 and 812 in the same article is because both models are designed with compatibility from the downpipes to the rear exhausts, allowing us to produce them accordingly.
First, let's examine the front pipes (downpipes), which are crucial for achieving the F1 sound on the F12/812.
These models have strict differences in specifications; aftermarket parts for the F12 can be installed, but they may interfere with the 812 and cannot be mounted.
Notably, starting from the later models of the 812, Euro emission regulations require the addition of GPF/OPF sensors. Without an exhaust gas dedicated sensor stay identical to OEM specifications, the engine will not start. Due to the completely different sensor shapes compared to the conventional OPF/GPF used in the F8 and other company types, developing a front pipe exclusively for the later models has proven extremely difficult and has been suspended.
Fortunately, we were able to obtain new genuine front mufflers for the later model 812, allowing us to successfully develop products faster than any other manufacturer. *Below is the front pipe for the later model 812.

Next is the Mid pipe.
While the vast majority of other companies adopt an X-pipe design, for the center pipes of the F12 and 812, if high-pitched sound is desired, there is no alternative to this design. The reason for having two types of center pipe designs is to allow fine adjustments considering the desired sound volume and overall setup preferences of our customers.
We employ designs packed with expertise to maximize the resonance of the sound during straight-line operation.

The exhaust tips, which serve as tail finishers, are available in a diverse lineup to suit the vehicle's atmosphere. While they may appear identical between the 812 and F12, this area actually differs in detail, making them incompatible.
