Ferrari F8 Tributo F1 sound Exhaust System | GWAPOTech JAPAN
The Ferrari F8, like its predecessor the 488, is composed of ① catalytic downpipes and ② rear mufflers.
In pursuit of high-pitched tones even in turbocharged Ferraris, GoatStrada has developed the optimal sound design after numerous iterations within the constraints of the vehicle, finally achieving the best sound through repeated redesign processes.
One premise for achieving high-pitched sound in the turbocharged Ferrari F8 is the installation of straight downpipes.
Regarding the downpipe section, the heat shield option is provided free of charge. There is a significant weight difference compared to the OEM downpipes.
And for the rear muffler section, we adopt the following two designs:
1. A design that emphasizes the sharp contrast of the variable valve ON/OFF *Refer to the top image
Benefits: Silent mode that matches the original volume in residential areas, weight reduction
2. A design that emphasizes high-pitched sound *Refer to the bottom image
Benefits: In addition to weight reduction, it demonstrates the unique Ferrari sound, and in silent mode, it remains quiet up to about the OEM sound volume +@
In the high-pitched sound version, the merging at point X is crucial to achieving the distinctive Ferrari sound.
The Exhaust tip that serves as the tail finisher adopts the design of the 488's Exhaust tips
The muffler cutter features a unique design, so there may be limitations on the options available!
