Lamborghini Gallardo F1 sound Valved Exhaust system | GWAPOTech JAPAN
The Lamborghini Gallardo has different specifications between early and late models.
Early models consist of ① exhaust manifold ② downpipe ③ rear exhaust
Late models are composed of ① exhaust manifold and ② rear exhaust
Regarding the exhaust system for early models, development is in progress, and currently, only the rear muffler is available for sale. Late models share an engine similar to that of the Audi R8, resulting in a very similar sound profile.
Fitting confirmation for the exhaust manifold in late models is currently underway, and we offer a special price to customers who can assist with fitting!
Let's start by examining the rear muffler, which is a crucial part in achieving the F1 sound of the Lamborghini Huracan V10 engine.
Our variable valve rear muffler is designed to provide sharper valve switching dynamics than stock, ensuring that in straight mode, it delivers explosive high frequencies at high RPMs through an X-merge pipe design.
Additionally, meticulous calculations in the piping, punching, and placement of glass wool inside the exhaust ensure that even with the valve off, the muffler achieves a sound dampening effect comparable to or better than the original equipment.
Next, another exhaust upgrade component to consider alongside the rear muffler is the exhaust manifold (headers). Stock exhaust manifolds often have numerous exhaust interference points, which can be eliminated by replacing them with full straight versions to improve exhaust flow further.
Replacing the exhaust manifold typically involves removing the engine, making it a labor-intensive process with higher costs. It's worth noting that this modification may render the vehicle unable to pass general inspection (in japan). However, for those seeking maximum performance, it could be considered as a final resort.
