Lamborghini Revuelto V12 6.5L F1 sound Valved Exhaust system | GWAPOTech JAPAN
This article focuses on the development details of the valved exhaust system for the Lamborghini Revuelto. A separate article covers the development of the straight rear exhaust system for the Revuelto.
Compared to the Aventador, the Revuelto is perceived as quieter, primarily due to the stricter noise regulations in Europe, leading to advanced soundproofing measures in the stock exhaust. Replacing the front catalytic pipes and rear exhaust of the Revuelto results in a dramatic sound level similar to the Aventador, reaching approximately 125 dB.
GWAPOTech's custom valved exhaust system for the Revuelto is designed to enhance high-pitched tones while maintaining torque. The rear exhaust's collector section is extended to fine-tune the sound of the large V12 engine without significant torque loss.
The valved system incorporates a motor valve bracket specifically developed to utilize the stock valve motor of the Revuelto. This design eliminates errors and allows precise control over the valve operation.
When the valves are closed, the exhaust system achieves near-stock levels of quietness. Adequately sized silencers on both sides ensure minimal noise output, adhering to strict sound regulations while providing an optimized experience.
