The straight downpipe is a recommended item for those seeking increased volume and a broader range of high RPM sounds. For those who find the changes from replacing the rear exhaust and Mid pipe insufficient, it is a particularly impactful tuning part.
When considering the priority of replacement for the best effect, the downpipe and Mid pipe are equally important, while the rear muffler is of lower priority. This is because even with the valve open, the exhaust always passes through silencers and catalytic converters, which act as obstacles.
