McLaren Artura Racing Valved Exhaust system | GWAPOTech JAPAN
The muffler for the McLaren Artura 3.0L V6 consists of:
Downpipe
Rear Exhaust
First, let’s introduce the downpipe from the front side.
The stock downpipe has a very large silencer, which suppresses exhaust efficiency.
In order to optimize exhaust efficiency, our company offers a straight pipe and, for an additional fee, a 200-cell sports catalytic converter option.
Finally, let’s introduce the rear exhaust.
The stock rear exhaust comes in two versions: a standard version with a large resonator and a sport exhaust version without valves.
Both versions have very large catalytic converters, which reduce exhaust efficiency and result in a muffled, deep sound.
For the rear exhaust, we use a full straight-pipe design that emphasizes high frequencies and an adjustable valve type that allows switching the volume based on usage.
To create a clear distinction between valve ON and OFF settings, we use a larger resonator. In silent mode, it is designed to be at a noise level equivalent to the stock silent mode, ensuring it is safe to drive in residential areas or at night, making it a gentleman’s option.
When the valve is open, it maximizes the engine’s potential, producing a racing sound without exhaust interference from the downpipe. This makes it a sound tuning item that enhances your daily driving experience.
