The muffler for the Mercedes-Benz C63 (W204) consists of:
① Headers/Manifolds ② Downpipe ③ Center pipe ④ Rear exhaust
First, we will introduce them starting from the front side's headers/manifolds.
These are the genuine headers/manifolds for the C63 (W204) model, but the tube length is very short, designed without consideration for sound volume.
We adopt long-tube headers/manifolds and offer them for sale in an extremely loud specification with straight downpipes as a set.
We have received feedback that the sound may become too loud, so this product is recommended for those seeking powerful sound.
Next, we will introduce the downpipes.
The OEM downpipes include large catalysts and silencers, greatly limiting exhaust efficiency.
We offer a straight specification without catalyst or with a 200-cell sports catalyst (*paid option) removed. This not only increases the sound volume but also proves highly effective in reducing weight and tuning for horsepower.
Following the downpipes is the cat-back system, an essential part for sound tuning. Here, we introduce both the rear exhaust and center pipe simultaneously.
The OEM center pipe includes large silencers that suppress exhaust efficiency.
We adopt an X-pipe design where the left and right exhausts intersect at the center cross section. The major benefit of this design is an increase in the high-rev sound range and a reduction in sound distortion.
For the rear exhaust, we use a variable valve system that allows switching of sound volume according to the application.
To give a clear distinction between valve ON and OFF, we use larger tailpipes. In Silent Mode, the sound volume is designed to be equivalent to the OEM's Silent Mode, ensuring peace of mind when driving at night or in residential areas, making it a gentleman's specification.
When the valve is open, it maximizes the engine's potential and creates a racing sound, enhancing the daily driving experience with a sound tuning item.
